Please join us for a panel discussion to celebrate the launch of an updated edition of Geoffrey and Susan Jellicoe’s classic text The Landscape of Man Shaping the Environment from Prehistory to the Present Day – a unique work covering landscape architecture from prehistory until the present day. Landscape critic and historian Tim Richardson, who has updated the book for publishers Thames & Hudson, will introduce the Jellicoes and their work, and the background to this remarkable book. A panel discussion will follow, with Professor Kathryn Moore of Birmingham City University, who knew Geoffrey Jellicoe and has made a long-term study of his work, and Lynda Harris, landscape architect and niece of Geoffrey and Susan.
Books will be on sale and there will be refreshments.
